These advanced study groups began in 2006. The Teachings are alive, highly interactive, and the learning vibrant and rigorous. The teaching reaches toward practitioners still in training as well as senior practitioners who have been in practice for decades.

In addition to the practice of 5 Element Taoist Medicine, Laura collaborates with working artists bringing the disciplines of ancient medicine together with the urgent call to the Muses of our Time. The Unseen Hand: Medicine from Antiquity

After 24 years, Laura stepped out of full-time private practice in 2014 to devote most of her time to the teaching of this tradition of medicine.  As part of this work, she continues to work clinically in Maine, Vermont and NYC in Teaching Clinics that meet quarterly in each location. Continuing to work with practitioners at Stillpoint, she is committed to keeping the excellence of 5 Element Acupuncture alive in Maine.
